Insulin injection sites picture
Insulin may be injected into a number of different
areas of the body. For example the abdomin, thighs, upper arms or the buttocks.
The abdomen is considered to be an ideal location due to the the absorption of insulin.
It is very strongly recommended that the site of injection be rotated so as a different
site is chosen each time.
If you always inject in the same spot a fatty lump will develop and the absorption of
insulin will be more eratic.
