Neuroblastoma Picture

Cancer that arises in immature nerve cells and affects mostly infants and children. This is a rare form of cancer that usually begins while the baby is in the womb. This cancer s formed by special nerve cells called neuroblasts. It effects infants most often because these normal  immature cells grow and mature into functioning nerve cells. But in neuroblastoma, they become cancer cells instead.
