Felty's Syndrome Picture
Felty's syndrome is a complication of long-standing
rheumatoid arthritis. Felty's Syndrome creates issues because the
abnormally low level of white blood cells predisposes people to higher risk for
infection. Felty's syndrome is defined by the presence of 3
conditions: rheumatoid arthritis, an enlarged spleen and
an abnormally low white blood count. Individuals with Felty's
syndrome may also experience fever, weight loss, fatigue, lesions on the legs. and in some cases
discoloration of the skin,
