Clubbing is a condition that affects the nails and the tips of the fingers. It
has four features:
- there is increased softness and sponginess of the nail bed
- the angle between the finger nail and the nail bed becomes filled in
- the nails become more curved
- the flesh around the nails, at the tip of the fingers, becomes swollen.
